So I have these Hard Drives....

In my computer. Windows is installed on one of them, but the other lies there, useless, as windows doesn't recognize it. Do any of you smart tech types know how I might make windows recognize the drive, so I can use i for things like media storage and the like? I understand there are pins involved, and possibly software....![]()
Or I could just install Kubuntu on it, but I really have no interest in hunting for drivers for my wireless card, I've done that before, with my laptop....NOT FUN! >(

2nd, if yes, try booting up a pendrive-Linux or live-CD and see if it's there at all.
3rd, go back to Windows and shoot up your "Computer Management": rightclick on "My Computer" and select the one that sounds similar to this (I'm on a German Windows, so I don't know for sure). There, navigate to something like "Data Storage -> Data medium management" and see if there is a drive unformatted. Richtclick and format it.
(I can shoot you up with a screenshot if it's not clear how to get there).
4th, by now, I hope you got it to working ;]

There's decent eye candy, like in OS X, but Vista just overdid it. And then, there's so many things that bug me (like when I tried to set up a wifi connection once and almost failed due to the unnecessarily complex system control pages). Not that I used it much though..

I like Aero, but it is overmuch. they didn't NEED to put all the eye candy in. So far I have not had any real trouble. next Im gonna try installing Oblivion and playing it.....maybe I'll crash and burn?

I would really like to like Aero, because the XP GUI is so outdated and I long for some eye candy (and not even the best visual style can change the fact). But alas, Aero doesn't make me happy..
Oblivion? Dunno, never tried playing games on Vista, actually.
