FInally got around RMA'ing my memory....

Some of you may remember I was having computer problems earlier in the year. Well, it turned out to be nothing more than a stick of bad memory, so I FINALLY got around to sending in a request for an RMA number from Crucial. If they decide to send me replacement memory, I will then have 4gigs of memory in my system, which is the max supported by a 32bit OS, right?

anyway, here's to hoping!

    3GB is the maximum supported. The real number is actually 4GB - (other adressable memory [videocard for example]) but windows will say 3GB just for the sake of simplification.

        No, all the sticks will be used, but you won't get any benefit from them. May as well leave them in, that's what I do. 4GB (4x1GB) - 512MB of vram = 3.5GB of usable memory.
