This will be brief, as I didn't have a high opinion of Crysis, so there isn't much to say.
Graphics: Assuming your computer can run it decently, the graphics are the sole "standout" of he game. They are in short, amazing....IF your computer can run it WELL. This cannot be stressed enough. If your computer can run it at 1650x1200, awesome.
If it can run it at 800x600, NOT SO AWESOME.
Sound: Decent tracks for an FPS. Not amazing, but not terrible either.
Controls: As is frequently, hopefully always, the case, they do what is needed. I don't really know how one can truly "excel" at controls....
Story: I didn't like it. It was ridiculous, and asked me to suspend disbelief quite a few too many times...
Fun: Not really my super cup of tea, but it works. It has online, so there is that, and it is pretty. Overall, fun in a "meh, ok lets do it" sorta way.
Replay: Harder difficulties? I dunno, I didn't replay it...I guess there is potential.
Overall, a mediocre product, by my standards anyway....

The Cake Is A Lie
While I didn't play Crysis myself, a few comments..

a) there's no 1650x1200 resolution. It's either 1600x1200 (3:4), or 1680x1050 (16:10). Yeeees, I love to nitpick! >;]
b) Controls. It's a shooter, it got WASD. OK, but the fun doesn't stop there! So you can't really give this a score. It's a whole different story with 3rd person shooters though. Compare the controls of games like, dunno, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, and Outcast. They couldn't be more different, really, you wouldn't believe. Consider this: you press forward ("W" per default in all of them), and in one game your character moves forward from HIS point of view, and in the other game he moves forward from YOUR point of view. Totally different metaphor. And it takes you a while until you realize this when you play the game for the very first time
But back to 1st person shooters. I'd consider stuff like "how do you effectively switch weapons" part of controls. Mousewheel (up or down for next wpn?), or keys 1-9, do you have the keys mapped several ways (like in Half-Life) or just once each (Unreal series), etc..
OK, I think that's enough rambling for just 1 comment ;]

I didn't like the story either, but the fact that it's the first of a trilogy gets me interested enough.
